According to TMZ, The Queen of ALL Media, Miss Oprah Winfrey herself.....the lady who's worth more than 2.7 billion dollars was told she could not afford a handbag by a racist Swiss shop assistant in Zurich!
Says Oprah,
“One more time, I tried. I said, ‘But I really do just want to see that one,’ and the shopkeeper said, ‘Oh, I don’t want to hurt your feelings,’ and I said, ‘Okay, thank you so much. You’re probably right, I can’t afford it.’ And I walked out of the store.”
Switzerland’s national tourism board has issued an apology on behalf of… THE ENTIRE COUNTRY of SWITZERLAND! Saying,
”We are very sorry for what happened to her.”
The board also begged for Oprah’s forgiveness on Twitter … Tweeting,
“The shop assistant “acted terribly wrong.”"
I hope Oprah buys the bag, the store building and everything in it including the rude woman who wouldn't show her the bag she wanted just because she can! If she happened to be a rap artist, you know what would have happened.
